After doing a variety of workout classes for a number of years I decided to try personal training with Melissa. Within 3 weeks I saw more results than I had with years of classes. Melissa is approachable and knowledgeable and I can't recommend her enough!

I have a pretty broken and banged up body after being involved in 3 motor vehicle accidents over the past 15 years. I have tried weekly massages, laser, acupuncture, physiotherapy, and chiropractic adjustments which is the only method I have had any sort of lasting results with. My chiropractor actually suggested that I try one on one sessions with Melissa and what a life-changing decision that turned out to be. My skepticism dissipated quickly as I had my first session with her. Her step by step instructions accompanied with a lot of patience and encouragement are showing proven results for this 50 year old body. I have less pain in my back and joints, and am showing flexibility which this body hasn’t seen since my competitive sports days back in my 20’s!! Ironically I was in a horrific t-bone collision 2 weeks ago and if not for Melissa’s tireless efforts to have my mind and body functioning in unison, I know for a fact that I would have been more seriously injured and probably hospitalized for some time. My husband and I have been working out with Melissa for a few months now and it has been fantastic. She comes to our house and designs workouts using the equipment that we have and this has done wonders for our consistency in working out. The workouts are always different but very doable and focus on functional improvements along with strength/cardio. One of the best things is that she emphasizes safe form and we have learned a lot about proper form not only while doing workouts but remembering key points just doing everyday life stuff; it’s really made a difference in core function and strength (important because we both work long hours at desk jobs!). Melissa is also very pleasant and has such a positive attitude - she will push you to challenge yourself but it’s always in an encouraging way. Overall I have only positive things to say about personal training with her and have recommended her to friends/family.
